A seven-part journey to dwell with God and find Him as your Dwelling Place.

“For this reason, they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His Temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His Tabernacle over them.” (Revelation 7:15)

True worship is our response to the love of God as revealed in Yeshua (Jesus). The result is intimate communion with and in Him. The Book of Revelation shows us what it’s like to dwell with God in heaven — both in our present age and in that which is to come. Revelation 7:9-17 reveals the pattern of God’s grace toward us: He gives Himself to us, and we give Him worship; we give Him worship, and He gives Himself to us. Through the endless reciprocation of love, we abide in Him and He dwells in us through His Holy Spirit. We are His house, and He is our home. He lives in us, and we live in Him. In so doing, God and we fulfill our mutual desire to dwell together forevermore. Surely, He is Emmanuel, God with us.

God’s promise to dwell with His people follows the unified worship of the citizens of heaven. Identifying with them, their sevenfold declaration will be our guide through this book: “Amen. Praise, glory, wisdom, thanks, honor, power, and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen” (Revelation 7:12). May it be our declaration as we dwell with God in Christ.
